Daysie Sutton Hall

Daysie Sutton Hall loved hats

Dick and Daysie courted throughout 1910 and married on April 29, 1911 in Santa Ana California. Daysie was from Portland, Oregon and not used to the desert heat; so they compromised . For several months in the summer Dick would find a way to see that Daysie and the children lived near Los Angeles and the ocean. Daysie adored hats and hoped to be an opera singer. Born in 1882, she was two years younger than her sister, Rose Sutton Parker, who took a larger role in their mother Rosa’s battle to prove Jimmie Sutton did not commit suicide.
